The BWT TC200 filter cartridge is a completely encapsulated unit, for highest quality and hygiene standards, comprised of an activated carbon filter for the removal of chlorine, toxic chlorination by- products, bad taste, color, odor and organic contaminants.
It also includes a hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane, 0.02 micron filtration for the removal of 99.99% bacteria and viruses while preserving desirable minerals.
The filter cartridge fits into the BWT Universal filter head by simply inserting and turning clockwise until the stop position is reached. This engages the cartridge to the Universal filter head and allows water to flow through the cartridge.

Our AQA drink filter cartridges are produced in Austria in a state-of-the-art production facility that is subject to continuous quality controls, aligned to strict ISO guidelines and the hygiene regulations of the HACCP concept and has been inspected several times by independent auditors. In order to meet the highest hygiene requirements, our AQA drink filter cartridges are sterilised in the process and have a low silver content (in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation WHO). In this way, we create a consistently high level of quality. This is the only way to ensure that the handling of the sensitive product drinking water always meets the highest hygiene standards.
